a sunny days dress

(published 14/10/2012)
When you look at this dress close up, you'll see that it has an amazing small print through it, although these photos do NOT do it justice!

Dress: forever new, Sunglasses RayBan.

I love this dress so much, first of all its from forever new which is one of my favourite stores! I love the slight Tye dye through it and the faint print which is only really visible at a close proximity. I also love that it came with a neon yellow belt which is perfect for summer, and i can pair the dress with other belts when i get sick of the fluro colour (which it is guaranteed that i will!). The other day (after i took these photos) i went shopping and found the perfect necklace which was on sale to match the belt, so happy! This dress is also the perfect shape, its super fitted at the top and then flairs out with the use of the pleats.

Style Inspiration: Christine Centenera

(published 6/10/2012)

Christine Centenera is the fashion editor for Harper's Bazaar Australia.
I am so in love her style, she always looks so effortless and incredible. I love that all of her outfits have a slightly tough edge to them! She can literally pull of anything. Definitely looking to her for style inspiration!!

MBFF - Brisbane

 (published 6th September)

So last week was the Mercedes Benz Brisbane Fashion Festival. I got to attend one of the group shows which was meant to be on the opening night, but as I'll explain later in another post it ended up getting post-pond!!
Here are some pictures i took and a few professional photos.
The designers who featured in the show I saw were,
Lisa Ho, EP by Easton Pearson, Wil Valor, Trelise Cooper, Threadbare.coRichards & Richards and Paul Hunt.

Paul Hunts was a clear favorite of mine! His dresses were simply amazing and beautiful, loved all of them!
Take a look at this link to see his dresses

(These aren't the best photo's but you get the idea).

I don't have very many pairs compared to some of you out there, but i think i'm on a good start considering my age (16) ! I unfortunately don't get that many chances to wear these shoes, as I'm at school most of the time (and we have to wear uniforms). I plan on wearing them a lot more next year when I finish school :)
